During their meeting at the G7 summit in Germany, both leaders stressed the need to support Ukraine and strengthen their position both in the war and in any future negotiations.
“They agreed that this is a critical moment for the course of the conflict and there is an opportunity to turn the tide of the war,” a Downing Street spokesman said in a statement.
