The former Minister of National Education, Moustapha Sourang, died in the night of Monday to Tuesday while being transported to the Principal Hospital of Dakar, where he was to be hospitalized. Reacting to this sad news, President Macky Sall praised the memory of a man of “exemplary discretion”.
“Professor Emeritus, Moustapha Sourang was a man of faith and a statesman. With exemplary discretion, he served the Nation with dedication. I offer my deepest condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace, ”President Sall wrote on twitter.
