Maaike Neuville makes her debut as a director

Maaike Neuville (37), the actress from series like The twelve in Red light, makes her debut as a director. Neuville goes the book Julian by Fleur Pierets.

Julian is about the female artist couple Fleur Pierets and Julian P. Boom who would marry in the 22 countries where same-sex marriage was permitted. However, Julian died after the fourth marriage. Pierets write together Neuville and Angelo Tijssen – the man who also co-wrote Girl – the scenario. It is not yet known when the recordings will start.
