M 3 Earthquake Shakes Cianjur West Java

Earthquake magnitude (M) 3 shaking Cianjur, West Java (West Java). The epicenter of the earthquake was on land.

“The epicenter of the earthquake was on land 3 km southeast of Cianjur Regency,” he wrote BMKG on his official Twitter account, Saturday (5/6/2021).

The earthquake occurred at 21:52 WIB at a depth of 10 Km. The coordinates of the earthquake were at 6.84 south latitude and 107.16 east longitude.

The earthquake was felt on the MMI II-III scale in Cianjur. Scale II means that vibrations are felt by several people, light objects that are hung sway.

While on a scale of III, the vibration is felt real in the house, the vibration feels as if a truck is passing.
