Dr. Łukasz Jankowski, president of the District Medical Council in Warsaw and one of the representatives of the Alliance of Residents of the Polish Medical Trade Union, referred in “Yes is” on TVN24 to the minister’s decision. Dr. Jankowski said that in this situation there is “fear and uncertainty as to what the implementation of the new minister” of health will look like. – The moment is really difficult: schools are about to start, we are on the eve of the flu season and its overlap with the pandemic – he pointed out.

– There are still patients chronically ill, not suffering from COVID, for whom this system must be efficient and improved – he mentioned. “There is still work to be done and suddenly the bus driver gets out,” he said.

The doctor said in the program that Szumowski could be remembered as “minister of dialogue”. – This dialogue has to be admitted from the beginning – he stressed. He added that a question should be asked whether Łukasz Szumowski was the minister of “effective action”.

Arłukowicz about the “sudden escape of the health minister”
Bartosz Arłukowicz, MP from the Civic Coalition, who held the same position in 2011-2015, also commented on the dismissal of the head of the health ministry.
