Romelu Lukaku has once again proven his worth for Inter against the modest Torino. After an hour of football, Conte’s team was still 0-2 in debt, but Inter conjured up a 4-2 victory. Lukaku scored 2 goals and an assist.
In minute 62 the faces at Inter were on a thunderstorm. They had just conceded a second goal at home after a penalty from Ansaldi. Just before half-time, Zaza also hit the spot for the visitors: a surprising double deficit.
But immediately after that, Inter put on a convincing comeback. Alexis Sanchez took care of the starting shot with his connection goal and then Romelu Lukaku took over. Torino’s defense didn’t look very precise and the Red Devil pushed the equalizer against the ropes from close range.
A draw seemed fair, but five minutes before the end, the referee put the ball on the spot after the intervention of the VAR. Lukaku did not hesitate and made his 7th of the season: 3-2. The victory was in and with an assist for Lautaro Martinez, the Belgian put the icing on the cake.
