It turns out that one day Juan Luis Guerra arrived at the home of businessman Jaime Camil Garza in Acapulco, where Van Rankin and Luis Miguel were.

“At Jaime Camil dad’s house, in Acapulco, Juan Luis Guerra came to eat and sitting on the stairs of the house, on a napkin he wrote a song that he had in mind and it was that of Until you forget me and he gave it to Luis Miguel ”, said the driver.

“He wrote it sitting on the stairs and on a napkin, I was sitting next to both of them,” added the surprised actor. “Luis Miguel listened to it and was surprised,” added Van Rankin about the history of the song that he will never forget how it was born.

The ballad was performed by ‘El Sol’ and was included in his album Aries 1993.
