Luhut’s men were appointed as Director General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Arifin Tasrif, inaugurated 3 Senior High Officials or 1st echelon and 1 Primary High Executive Officer or echelon 2 in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, today, Monday (10/8/2020).

One of the appointed echelons is Ridwan Djamaluddin as Director General of Oil and Gas ( Director General of Oil and Gas) Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

Ridwan previously worked under the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, as Deputy for Infrastructure and Transportation Coordination at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment.

The position of Director General of Oil and Gas has been vacant since July 2019 after Djoko Siswanto was removed from his position by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ignasius Jonan at that time.

In addition, Arifin appointed Eko Budi Lelono to be Head of the Geological Agency. Previously, Eko served as Head of the Geological Survey Center, Geological Agency.

Arifin also appointed Yulijanto Nurtjahyo to be the Head of the Human Resources Development Agency for Energy and Mineral Resources. Previously, Yulijanto served as Expert Staff for Investment and Infrastructure Development.

Finally, Arifin appointed Lana Saria, as Director of Engineering and Environment for Mineral and Coal, Directorate General of Mineral and Coal.
