Luhut Reports to Jokowi About the Possibility of Increasing Covid Data!

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut B. Pandjaitan revealed that tracing is the key in detecting the Covid-19 virus. So far, this has been a problem because the reported data is potentially much smaller than what actually happens in the field.

“So now we understand more and more that technique tracing This is important in dealing with Covid-19. Technique tracing this is the key,” said Luhut during a visit to the Oxygen House, Thursday (29/7/21).

Through tracing, the spread of the Covid-19 virus can be quickly identified. Although it is possible that the number of positives will be known more than before.

“So I told the President that maybe the number of people who are known to be infected will increase, but that’s okay, he’s ‘uprooted’ from his family. So there’s not a lot of transmission in the family,” he explained.

Patients who are confirmed to have Covid-19 can also be immediately treated at the hospital because the availability of beds (BOR) at the hospital is increasing. Currently the availability of beds in Jakarta is around 9,000 more. while the entire Java-Bali prepared nearly 50,000 beds including in Bandung, Semarang, Yogya, Solo Raya, Surabaya, Malang, Bali and so on.

“We are also starting outside Java. We have started preparing oxygen, we have almost 20 additional ISO Tanks, now we will use this to accommodate the existing oxygen from Konawe, Java, Kalimantan, and Bali. So we hope that the ISO Tanks that we have prepared this helps from the lack of oxygen,” he said.

Currently, ISO Tank Containers are urgently needed to deliver liquid or gaseous oxygen from an oil and gas industry to an island or to an oil and gas depot in an area.
