Luciano De Crescenzo’s family distances himself from the League poster with the face of the well-known Neapolitan actor.
There is much discussion about a poster published on the Facebook page of Severino Nappi, the former Councilor for Labor of the center-right junta led by Stefano Caldoro between 2010 and 2015, now a candidate with the Regional League in Campania. Nappi published the writer’s photo and a quote from De Crescenzo (“Naples, humanity’s last hope“) accompanied by the Lega-Salvini Premier logo, as well as the logos« First the Italians »and« Campania our place », the latter named after the civic movement founded by Nappi himself.
The Neapolitan actor’s family wanted to clarify through a message on social media: “From the De Crescenzo family, regarding the appearance of a poster signed by the League with the face of Luciano:« We do not authorize and dissociate ourselves from any use for political-electoral purposes of the image of Luciano De Crescenzo that we will protect in all the appropriate locations » . (we ask all friends to spread this message) “.
