LSU‍ Women’s Basketball Continues Road Swing ‌with Matchup Against⁢ New Orleans

NEW ‌ORLEANS,LA – The‌ fifth-ranked LSU women’s basketball team (9-0) will face the ‌New ‍Orleans‌ Privateers on Wednesday,December 6th,marking the 31st meeting in series history. LSU ‌holds a commanding 25-5 advantage ⁤boasting an 11-1 record when playing in New Orleans. ‌This ‌game ⁢represents the fourth consecutive road contest⁤ for the ⁢Tigers following their participation in ​the 2025 Paradise Jam Tournament.

The LSU-UNO rivalry dates back decades, with‍ this‌ contest ‍being the first since an 83-49 LSU victory in the ‍2019-20 season opener. The Tigers ⁢have played 12 games⁣ in ‌New ‌Orleans across the 30 previous matchups.‌ This ‍game is significant as LSU ⁢aims to‌ maintain its perfect 9-0 start to⁤ the season and extend its winning streak to ⁢ten games, despite recently having ⁤an eight-game streak of ‌scoring 100+ points snapped.
