With new faces on the air, BTV will fight for a higher rating. The first private television in our country is determined not to yield to its main competitor – Nova TV.
This year, BTV plans to kill the fish with its new shows. The most awaited is certainly the “Bachelor”. The show, in which beauties will fight for the heart of the macho Victor Stoyanov, starts airing in the spring. The host of “The Bachelor” will be the young actor Naum Shopov Jr.
Hristo Shopov’s son rose as a star on Nova TV in the medical drama “Stolen Life”. He is now being transferred to BTV. The show has already been filmed in Turkey, and the winner is clear. In the spring we will see Professor Kantardzhiev in different roles. The epidemiologist will be part of the jury of “Bulgaria is looking for talent”. Kantardzhiev is also known in Bulgaria for his sense of humor, which will certainly raise the rating of the show. The jury also includes Nikolaos Citiridis, young actress Evelin Kostova and proven star Katerina Evro.
After eight years, another favorite show of many generations returns to the small screen – the reality show “Survivor”. The adventure show will be hosted by Vlado Karamazov, who has been the face of the show in the past. The episodes of “Survivor 6” were filmed in the Philippines. Former winner Vanya Djaferovic will play a special role in it.
At the end of last year, BTV started broadcasting the most beloved game in our country “Get Rich”. The show went through all the televisions – first in “Nova”, where it started. Then for a short time on BNT. And since the last days of December he has appeared on BTV with host Mihail Bilalov.
“The Farm” will be on the air again. The producers of the most Bulgarian show Ivan and Andrey have already announced that the recordings for season number 8 are starting. Nova TV relies on proven shows that have established themselves in recent years for their spring program. On private television we will again watch the family reality show “One for Another”. The show, in which couples go through various trials, has achieved incredible success and will deservedly have a third season. Former weather forecaster Emo Cholakov is expected to be the face of the show again.
The biggest question that excites viewers is whether there will be another season of “Like two drops of water”. In recent years, a large galaxy of Bulgarian stars have passed through the show and the selection for the imitation show is already difficult. Another important question, if there are “Drops”, is who will stand next to Gero as host. Last season, the actor’s partner was Zueca, but he went to live abroad.
After a one-year break, Viktor Angelov returns to the air. The chef will shout again and throw plates at the culinary candidates in “Hell’s Kitchen”. The fourth season will also feature “Games of Will”, with castings starting in the spring. One of the most favorite images of Bulgaria – Katsi Vaptsarov, will shine on the screen again. The iconic presenter returns not to one of the big televisions, but to a new cable company. Katsi will host the favorite show of many generations “Risk wins, risk loses”.
