Thomas’s Journey to West Virginia
While transferring from Louisville, Thomas has yet to play a snap at the Power Four level. He spent his first three years at Western kentucky University. His performance in 2024 led him to enter the transfer portal, ultimately landing him at Louisville, where he participated in spring practices.

Early Career and Breakout Season
A native of Miramar, Florida, Thomas made an immediate impact as a true freshman, playing in eight games.During that season, he recorded nine tackles, two pass breakups, and an interception, which he returned for a 42-yard touchdown against Middle Tennessee State.
His career faced a setback when he missed the entire 2023 season due to an undisclosed injury. Though, he rebounded strongly in 2024, his final season with the Western Kentucky hilltoppers. Thomas amassed 54 tackles, seven tackles for loss, four sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.
