The role of Mega Mindy will henceforth be played by the Flemish actress Lotte Stevens. Studio 100 announced this on Wednesday. Stevens succeeds Free Souffriau, who announced a few weeks ago that she would no longer take on the role of the superheroine after fifteen years.

Lotte Stevens will perform as Mega Mindy for the first time at the 25 years Studio 100 festival, which will take place on September 11 in Plopsaland De Panne. In addition, she will also be featured in the Mega Mindy Theater Show in the Netherlands from March 2022.
Stevens is known for the Ketnet series Hoodie, in which she plays the role of Flo. She also played in several musicals. “I’m thrilled to be playing Mega Mindy in the theater show,” she says. “She is a superheroine to so many children. It will undoubtedly be a great adventure in all respects.’
It is not the first time that Lotte Stevens is allowed to wear Mega Mindy’s suit. She occasionally filled in for Free Souffriau.
It is not yet known who will play the role of her opponent Mega Toby. Auditions are being organised, for which interested parties can register via studio100.com.
