Losing to Monza, Juventus was very bad in the first round

Turin

Juventus brushed AC Monza in the Italian Premier League. Massimiliano Allegri judge The Old Lady played a very bad first half.

Juventus vs Monza took place at the Allianz Stadium, Sunday (29/1/2023) evening WIB. The Bianconeri appeared dominant in this match, but could not close it with a win.

The Old Lady fell with a score of 2-0. All of Monza’s goals came in the first half through Pattrick Ciurria and Dany Mota.

“I don’t think we’ve ever played a first half like that and we have to reflect on that. The game went better after the break but we have to admit responsibility for the overall performance,” Allegri told DAZN.

Juventus scored a goal in the 77th minute after chaos broke out in the Monza penalty box from a free kick. The referee annulled the goal because Bremer was in an offside position.

This result made Juventus worse off after being punished with a 15 point deduction. Juventus are in 13th place with 23 points and Monza has jumped to 11th with 25 points.

“We have to be aware of the position we have in the standings at the moment, not the 38 we got. We have 23 points now. So after today’s defeat, we have to improve the situation,” he said.
