Kannur > Lorry driver stabbed to death near Kannur Head Post Office. VD Jinto (39), a native of Kanichar Pulakutty, was killed. The incident took place on Monday morning. It is suggested that the robbery attempt resulted in the murder. Jinto, who was a driver of a national permit lorry, had come to unload the load at the market. Jinto’s leg was deeply wounded. After being cut, Jinto ran and collapsed on the road. Kannur Town Inspector PA Binumohan led the police investigation. Kannur town police have taken some suspects into custody.
