López Obrador applauded the example of Cristiano Ronaldo on not consuming soda

The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, celebrated that Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his disagreement with the consumption of soda, by removing a couple of bottles of Coke when starting a press conference.

The June 14, the Portuguese took both drinks that had been placed in front of him and moved them away, so that they would not appear in the picture.

During the conference ‘Morning‘, the federal president pointed out that whoever suffers chronic disease or obesity are more susceptible to getting sick from pandemia del SARS-CoV-2.

“Those who have a chronic disease or are obese are more susceptible to becoming ill than being a victim of Covid.

“That is proven, a person with a chronic disease resists less, or with obesity that has already been demonstrated, but also, due to the confinement for protection there was no adequate food or there was more food, there was no exercise and obesity increased in children, youth.

“So we have to continue informing, orienting on this matter of health education that it is very important to eat and exercise take care of ourselves.”
