Al-Jubeir said: “The kingdom is not on Russia’s side, and is only taking sides to ensure the stability of the oil markets, which is in the interests of consumers and producers, and we have been doing this for decades and have been trying to ensure there were no turbulent price fluctuations. “
He added: “To have logic when it comes to investments and loans, and as far as prices are concerned, Saudi Arabia firmly believes in this and the decision to reduce the quotas was made unanimously by 22 countries.”
Al-Jubeir indicated that the markets responded positively to the question, adding: “Oil prices have fallen since last week and have not increased.”
