Al-Marsad Newspaper: Dr. Muhammad Al-Ahmadi, Professor of Exercise Physiology, revealed the appropriate figure for women’s waist circumference.
She said, during the “From Saudi Arabia” program, that if the waist measurement for women is 80 cm or more, then the woman has entered into health problems and increases the risk of disease.
Al-Ahmadi added: “If the measures exceed 88 cm, the woman will be at risk and will be very vulnerable to disease”.
He pointed out that the natural figure for the waist is half a person’s height or less, and measuring this way is best to include another factor, which is length.
