Al-Marsad newspaper: German channel Welt has launched an attack on the Moroccan national team, comparing the players to elements of ISIS.
The channel published a photo of 3 players who raised their index fingers in the locker room to celebrate their victory during the World Cup in Qatar.
The German broadcaster said: This is maddening and provocative, this is the sign of the terrorist organization (ISIS).
The channel has tried to send a message that they are terrorists, not football players.
The German channel sparked widespread controversy over the report, and tweeters felt that the goal of comparing the players to elements of the ISIS terrorist organization is only to distort the players’ image.
