Longford town shop raider apprehended and charged in bold move

A man in his 20s was arrested and charged following an alleged shoplifting incident at a clothes store on Ballymahon Street in Longford town. The suspect grabbed a series of jackets from the rails before fleeing on foot towards New Street. Gardaí were alerted and arrested the person responsible, recovering all of the items that were taken. The suspect is due to appear in court at a later date.
