Invitation to teachers of SMA Negeri 58 Jakarta to his students to own the head of a religious OSIS, now has a long tail. The teacher with the initials TS was reported to the East Jakarta Police on charges spread an invitation that smelled of SARA.
The Police Report was submitted on November 2, 2020. Currently, East Jakarta Metro Police investigators are still investigating the report.
“Yes, there are reports. Went in yesterday on 2 (November),” said East Jakarta Metro Police Deputy Chief AKBP Stefanus Tamuntuan when confirmed. detikcom, Tuesday (3/11/2020).
The police did not reveal in detail who the reporter was in this case. Stefanus only mentioned that the reporter was a representative of the students.
Neither did the contents of the report explain. But in essence, this TS teacher reportedly related to SARA-smelling speech.
“We are still examining it first, it’s just a report. But there is something related to SARA,” added Stefanus.
Furthermore, Stefanus explained that his party would study the report. He said that in the future his party would summon the parties involved in the case.
“We just received the report yesterday. We will summon all parties to clarify,” explained Stefanus.
The principal of SMA Negeri 58 Jakarta has summoned and reprimanded the teacher for inviting his students to elect the head of the student council of that religion. The principal assessed that the teacher was careless so that his message to the students went viral.
“It happened on Thursday, October 22, then on October 23 I immediately summoned it because I got a complaint from my parents, it was on Twitter, “said the Head of SMAN 58, Dwi Arsono, to detikcom, Wednesday (28/10).
The message was from October 22nd. The WA group contains 44 Rohis students. Dwi Arsono as the principal admitted that he had reprimanded the TS teacher. The examination report (BAP) from the school has been sent to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Office.
“Teachers have been subject to BAP at school, have been reprimanded, have been conveyed to the Service. Currently, the Service has followed up,” Dwi Arsono said, Wednesday (28/10).
