Loire-Atlantique: death of a 10-year-old child after a truck hit an electric pole

About fifty homes were deprived of power following this road accident which occurred this Saturday morning in Fay-de-Bretagne in Loire-Atlantique.

Driver slightly injured

A ten-year-old child lost his life this Saturday around 4 a.m. in a road accident occurred in Fay-de-Bretagne in Loire Atlantique. The little boy was in a truck which violently hit an electric pole. The driver of the heavyweight was transported to Nantes University Hospital with minor injuries, reports France Blue. The firefighters intervened on the scene trying to resuscitate the child in cardiac arrest, but in vain. The SAMU doctor confirmed his death a few minutes later.

The father of the child driving?

According to initial information, the father of the child would have driven the truck originally this the accident. He would have left the road after falling asleep at the wheel of his road truck.
