Lohr: clearing work for new central clinic finished

In Lohr, the clearing for the district’s new central hospital has been completed. According to the Main Spessart Clinic, around 70 trees had to give way. They will be replanted on the Main near the Rodenbach district. Nesting sites for bats also had to be moved because of the clearing. The next step towards the new central hospital is now the construction of the access road. The new clinic will have space for 280 beds and a medical center. The official start of construction is in the summer – the 147 million euro project should be finished in 2024.
