BOLASPORT.COM – Liverpool has released an update on the injury suffered by their flagship center-back, Virgil van Dijk.
The Merseyside derby that took place in Week 5 Premier League 2020-2021 between Everton and Liverpool take its toll.
The victim in question is a defender Liverpool, Virgil van Dijk, who received a tough tackle from the goalkeeper Everton, Jordan Pickford, in the 7th minute of the first half.
Van Dijk, who was trying to catch the ball at the time, was tackled by Pickford to the knee.

The tackle made Van Dijk have to be pulled out at the start of the match.
After the match, Van Dijk was confirmed to have a knee ligament injury or so-called Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL).
