Liverpool and some clubs are interested in Raphinha, but…

Interest Liverpool and some of the top clubs to Raphinha it’s not a figment. But, Raphinha’s current focus is Leeds United.

Raphinha’s future has been the subject of much speculation in recent months. This is after Raphinha’s solid performance in his debut season with Leeds.

He scored six goals and provided nine assists in 30 Premier League appearances. The statistics are okay for a debutant that he continued this season.

Raphinha has so far scored three goals even though Leeds United are still stumbling at the bottom of the table. That performance made Raphinha then called up to the Brazilian national team.

Naturally, if Raphinha then attracted many big English and European clubs. One of them is Liverpool who turned out to be chasing him last summer.

Liverpool at that time did need new energy in the attack line so Raphinha was considered a strong candidate. But, Leeds was reluctant to sell it cheaply at that time.

However, given Raphinha’s ability and Leeds’ current status at the bottom of the table, he could move on in January. Liverpool will certainly chase him again to look for substitutes for Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah who appeared in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Regarding these rumors, former top Portuguese footballer Deco who is now Raphinha’s agent said his client’s current focus is to perform as well as possible at Leeds and bring the club back to life.

Admittedly, Liverpool and some other top clubs are really interested Raphinha.

“Raphinha is already a top player in the Premier League, the clubs know he has improved a lot and this is normal,” Deco told reporters. Globe Sports.

“He is still young, there are many challenges waiting for him, of course there are several clubs interested in him, and Liverpool are among them. There is an approach, but it is not official yet,” he continued.

“Leeds want to maintain another season.”
