RKI reports over 11,000 new cases – hospitalization increased
the Seven-day incidence lies according to the responsible Robert Koch Institute (RKI) currently at 82.8 (News ticker Friday, September 10th). This emerges from the information provided by the institute on Saturday morning. The previous day the value was 83.8, a week ago it was 80.7. The health authorities in Germany reported to the RKI 11,214 new corona infections within one day. The numbers reflect the status of the RKI dashboard at 4:12 a.m. A week ago the value was 10,835 infections.
Germany-wide, according to the new information 45 deaths within 24 hours recorded. A week ago there were 24 deaths. The RKI counted 4,070,295 infections detected since the start of the pandemic with Sars-CoV-2 in Germany. The actual total number is likely to be significantly higher, as many infections are not detected.
The number of Corona patients admitted to clinics per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days the RKI on Friday with 1.95 on (previous day 1.89). A nationwide threshold, from when the situation can be viewed critically, is for the Hospitalization Incidence not provided due to large regional differences, among other things. The previous high was around 15.5 around Christmas time.
The RKI stated the number of those who had recovered at 3,817,900. The number of people who have had a proven infection with Sars-CoV-2 died are, rose to 92,598.
