“LNSO summer house” has opened its doors this summer in Ventspils, in the concert hall “Latvija”.
On August 23, the festival will end with a concert “LNSO, Raimonds Pauls and Gija Kančeli”. Conducted by Andris Poga, the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, saxophonist Oskars Petrauskis, pianist Raimonds Petrauskis and percussionist Rihards Zaļupe or Xylem trio and maestro Raimonds Pauls. It will be a beautiful conversation of true friends and like-minded people in music, which will also be heard live in “Klasikas”.

Gija Kančeli’s suite of cinematic themes for piano and orchestra A la duduki (Vilnius Šmīdbergs theme series and rearrangement), suite Hanuma Xylem Trio and orchestra in the arrangement of Rihards Zaļupe and Raimonds Pauls miniature from the cycle “Night Butterflies” for piano and orchestra in the arrangement of Jēkabs Jančevskis.
