Leading No. 3 Michigan at No. 13 Iowa 21-3 after three quarters in the Big Ten Championship Game, and it’s hard to imagine the Hawkeyes doing so. Michigan had an early 14-0 lead in the first quarter thanks to two big games, but the Iowa defense settled in quickly and has kept the Wolverines in the majority since then.
The problem is, Iowa’s offense cannot take advantage of anything. The Hawkeyes only made 237 yards of attack and an average of 4.2 yards per game. They played 23 of their 57 offensive games in Michigan territory, but only had three points to show.
