Live cat found in suitcase at JFK airport in New York

It is not uncommon for airport agents to find drugs or weapons in suitcases. This time, the discovery is very different. On November 16, the agents of theairport JFK New York (UNITED STATES) have in fact discovered a To chat in a bag, bring back NBC News.

The suitcase had been checked in by a traveler leaving for Orlando, Florida with a layover in Atlanta. The bag was then passed through an x-ray scanner. It was then that an officer saw a suspicious shape on the screen of the device.

The owner of the suitcase didn’t notice anything

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) also posted photos Tuesday on Twitter. You can clearly see the animal, in the suitcase, lying among the other objects. In one of the shots we notice red hairs protruding from the luggage. The cat was pulled out of the suitcase and was able to return to his home, where he is now safe, TSA spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein said on Twitter.

According to our colleagues at NBC News, the cat doesn’t belong to the owner of the luggage but to someone who lives in their home. He would have slipped into the suitcase without the traveler noticing.
