Litigation – Frankfurt am Main – Millions in profits with insider trading: Bankers in court – Panorama

Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) – A fund manager (45) and an investment bank employee (45) are standing in front of the Frankfurt Regional Court from Tuesday (9:30 a.m.) on suspicion of insider trading in securities. The trial is about alleged violations of the Securities Trading Act, which are said to have brought the two defendants a total of more than ten million euros in profits last year. According to the prosecution, this was made possible because various internals are said to have been passed on in 55 individual cases. The commercial criminal chamber has initially scheduled five hearing dates until the end of September.
