Listening tip: Zeit-Online-Managing Director Enrique Tarragona the “small censorship” on Facebook News is “a thorn in the side”, he says in the podcast “Das Facebook Briefing”, referring to the platform’s rules on offensive content and its impact on freedom of the press. No form of censorship at all would be more damaging in the end. Publishers who break the rules can expect to be blocked, says Guido Bülow, Head of News Partnerships Central Europe on Facebook.
