Didzis Melderis, who was introduced to a wider audience in the competition “X Factor”, created a creative tandem together with the poet Emils Buikis, who is able to capture the musician’s feelings in words. He says: “We are both romanticists, and love in music is one of the most talked about topics that will probably be relevant to us in the future.”
The first single “In Your Hair” describes the feeling of falling in love that vibrates in the air and seems inexplicably beautiful. This feeling can come to both a sixteen-year-old and a senior with life experience.
The producer of the song “Tavos matos” is Jānis Aišpurs, who also participated in the recording of the song, alongside guitarist Jānis Kalniņš and drummer Pēteris Lunds. Didzis Melderis is currently in the process of assembling his own independent group.
After participating in the second season of the TV show “X Factor”, Melder spent 2019, actively performing in various ensembles of musicians, performing together with singer Olga Rajeckas, guitarist Gints Smuko. This year, 2020, it is planned to work on the next singles, which would eventually be collected on the album.
