A total of three national teams ASEAN pass to Asian Cup U-20 2023 in Uzbekistan from 1 to 18 March 2023. Here are the three teams from Southeast Asia that will qualify for the U-20 Asian Cup.
The three Southeast Asian teams that managed to get tickets for next year’s U-20 Asian Cup finals are: Indonesia, Australia and Vietnam.
The Indonesian and Australian teams entered the 2023 Asian Cup U-20 with group winners status. Indonesia won Group F while Australia won Group H. While Vietnam was the best runner-up in Group F.

Indonesia and Vietnam have tough competition in Group F. Both teams performed well in their first two games and wiped out the match with a win.
Garuda Asia and Young Golden Warrior also faced the decisive match in the last group party.
A 3-2 win over Vietnam led Shin Tae Yong’s side to win Group F, as well as automatic qualification in Uzbekistan. Meanwhile, Vietnam also entered Uzbekistan as the best runner-up.
Another ticket won by the ASEAN countries belongs to Australia, which has just played the qualification from 14 to 18 October.
Like Indonesia, Australia have also won three games and collected nine points, scoring 9 goals and conceding 2 goals.
Group H, which played the most recent qualifier, prevented another ASEAN team, Thailand, from qualifying for the 2023 Asian U-20 Cup.
Thailand lost to compete with Iraq which won in terms of discipline. Before qualifying for Group H took place, Thailand was at the bottom of the top runner-up rankings.
