With success Costa Rica confirm the last ticket to 2022 World CupHere are the 32 teams that will appear at the four-year football party.
Joel Campbell’s single goal in the playoffs between CONCACAF and OCF (Oceania) representatives not only made Costa Rica win 1-0 over New Zealand. Costa Rica is also entitled to the 32nd ticket to appear in the 2022 World Cup.
One day earlier, there was Australia who also secured a place in Qatar in November by winning the 31st ticket.
With this result, the CONCACAF zone has four representatives at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, namely Canada, Mexico, the United States and Costa Rica.
The CONMEBOL (South America) zone also has four representatives. The African Region (CAF) has five representatives in the 2022 World Cup. After that there is the AFC with six representatives and the remaining 13 teams from the UEFA zone.
The division of the 2022 World Cup group was carried out in April. Costa Rica, which has just qualified for Group E, along with Spain, Germany and Japan.
