List of 12 Ambassadors Appointed by Jokowi Today, Don’t Just Focus On The First One

jpnn.com, JAKARTA – President Joko Widodo inaugurated 12 extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors (LBBP ambassadors) to a number of friendly countries. The inauguration was held at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (17/11).

Appointment of para ambassador This LBBP RI is stated in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 139/P of 2021 concerning the Appointment of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors which was read out.

On that occasion, the man who is familiarly called Jokowi it took the oath of office for the ambassadors appointed today.

“I swear that I, to be appointed as an extraordinary ambassador and in full power, will be loyal to the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945 and will carry out all laws and regulations in a straightforward manner for the sake of my devotion to the nation and country,” said the President. Jokowi dictated the utterance of the oath of office to the ambassadors.

The inauguration ceremony was held while still implementing strict health protocols. The ambassadors who were appointed had previously also attended the necessary health checks.

The inauguration ceremony ended with congratulatory greetings, preceded by President Jokowi and Vice President Ma’ruf Amin, followed by a limited number of invited guests.

In addition, also attending on a limited basis were the Fifth President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri, Chair of the Indonesian House of Representatives Puan Maharani, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto, Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces General Andika Perkasa, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Budi Gunawan.

There are also Deputy Foreign Minister Mahendra Siregar, Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Dudung Abdurachman, Air Force Chief of Staff (KSAU) Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo, Navy Chief of Staff (KSAL) Admiral Yudo Margono, previous TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, and the previous Head of BNPB, Ganip Warsito.
