Brookhaven Man Faces Multiple Animal Cruelty Charges
Lincoln County, MS – Dustin Andrew Sisco, 33, of Brookhaven, was arrested and charged with three counts of simple animal cruelty to dogs and/or cats, according to a report released by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest occurred recently, with details emerging from the weekly jail docket.
The Lincoln County Jail docket, updated regularly, also lists arrests made by the Brookhaven Police Department, Mississippi Highway Patrol, and the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Other recent arrests include Marquis Devon Johnson, charged with DUI second, driving with a suspended license, and resisting arrest by BPD; and Marjoe Herdadmarki Smith, facing felony drug and weapons charges, also arrested by BPD. Several individuals were also sentenced or held on warrants.
The Lincoln County Jail serves as the primary detention facility for individuals arrested within the county, housing those awaiting trial or serving short-term sentences. Arrests do not constitute guilt, and all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
