Lily Allen Announces Intimate UK Theater Tour Following Critically Acclaimed Album Release
Lily Allen will embark on a UK theatre tour in March 2025 to support her latest album, West End Girl, which debuted on October 24th and has quickly become a cultural touchstone due to its intensely personal lyrics. Tickets go on sale at 10am GMT on November 7th.
The tour, encompassing 11 dates across the UK, follows the album’s widespread critical acclaim - including a five-star review from The Independent and a four-star rating from the Guardian’s Alexis Petridis, who lauded its “boldness and the quality of its songwriting.” West End Girl has sparked significant public interest, fueled by speculation surrounding the album’s candid disclosures about Allen’s personal life, including references to a figure identified as “Madeline.” The album’s success is also notable for its unconventional chart performance, driven in part by mp3 downloads, with three songs – “Pussy Palace,” the title track “West End Girl,” and “Madeline” – currently projected to land in the UK Top 40.
