On August 1, a concert performance “Looking for Actors” will take place in the parking lot near the Liepāja Theater, the representatives of the theater informed.

The application for the concert performance states: “The theater is in trouble. Due to congestion, actors have threatened to resign if the workload is increased. Theater Day is approaching and there is only one solution. The director of the theater places an advertisement in the newspaper that actors are being sought. And there they come… Rūķis Kautrīgais, Jurčiks, Žaklīna, Gatiņš, Baibiņa, Jejs Getsbijs and others. The invited director has a week to create a real holiday concert with the “young actors”. “

The creators of the concert performance are actors Egons Dombrovskis and Mārtiņš Kalita, as well as the musical director of the theater Normunds Kalniņš, and Edgars Pujāts, Inese Kučinska, Armands Kaušelis, Everita Pjata-Gertnere, Leons Leščinskis, Kaspars Els, Signe Dancī Kaspars Kārkliņš, Egons Dombrovskis, Mārtiņš Kalita, Liepāja musicians under Normunds Kalniņš. Surprise guests are also scheduled for the event.
