LFP files complaint after attack on sick child and parents at Ligue 1 match

The Kenzo case continues. The Professional Football League (LFP) filed a complaint on Monday after the attack on Saturday in Ajaccio of this sick child and his parents on the sidelines of the Ligue 1 match between AC Ajaccio and Olympique de Marseille, announced Tuesday 6 June the LFP and the public prosecutor of Ajaccio, Nicolas Septe. The LFP “intends to become a civil party to the proceedings”added the prosecutor, stating that “AC Ajaccio has not filed a complaint for the time being”.

Kenzo, an 8-year-old OM supporter with brain cancer, was invited to Corsica on Saturday to perform his “dream” to meet Marseille players. But he was targeted with his parents in the Ajaccien stadium.

An investigation was opened for “violence in meetings”. DThe auditions of the 8-year-old boy, his brother, his father and his mother are scheduled for Tuesday and will be carried out “by the gendarmes located near their home”, not far from Marseille, said the prosecutor.

This affair aroused great emotion and reactions even to the President of the Republic. Emmanuel Macron called for sanctions on Monday “clear and strong”.
