A Lexus car black color with ‘RFS’ plate experienced accident single at the Senayan Roundabout, South Jakarta. The car driven by RU overturned after hitting the bicycle lane barrier.
The single accident was reported to have occurred on Saturday (24/7) at around 18.45 WIB. It started when RU drove from north to south on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, South Jakarta.
Head of Laka, Gakkum Sub-Directorate of Ditlantas PMJ, AKP Robby Hefados, said the car suddenly swayed when it passed in front of the RB Ministry Building. Robby said RU lost concentration.
“When he arrived at the TKP, precisely near the Kemenpan RB Building, it was suspected that he was not careful and concentrated when avoiding the PPKM barrier barricade in front of him and then swerved to the left,” Robby said in his statement, Saturday (24/7/2021).
Robby said that while trying to avoid the barrier, RU hit the bicycle lane barrier on the left side of the road. As a result, the Lexus car driven by RU overturned on the spot.
“Hit the bike lane barrier on the left side,” he said.
No Casualties
Robby said there were no fatalities as a result of the accident. However, the vehicle was damaged and the bicycle lane barrier at the location was also strewn about.
“As a result of the accident, there were no casualties but the vehicle was damaged,” he said.
The police are currently investigating RU. The wrecked ‘RFS’ plate car has now been evacuated by officers.
