Lewis Capaldi takes a break ahead of Glastonbury and apologizes to fans

“The past few months have been great, but also very tough mentally and physically”, says Capaldi, who released a new album, ‘Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent’, a few weeks ago. “I haven’t been home properly since Christmas and I’m currently experiencing difficulty getting everything under control. I need a little rest so I can be my best self again at Glastonbury Festival and all the concerts that follow. I feel that I need those three weeks of ‘holiday’ to feel like the normal Lewis for a while. To be able to spend some time with family and friends and do the normal things that are important to my well-being. I hope everyone understands that.”

Capaldi also apologizes for the consequences of his decision for his fans. “I understand that many of you have already booked hotels or plane tickets to see a show. This is not easy, especially in these difficult economic times. I would like to sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.”
