The visit to Germany was announced on Thursday, while the data of the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPKC) on the list of new countries to be self-isolated after the visit were announced only today, Rosenberg explained. The President is scheduled to pay a working visit to Germany on 27 and 28 August, during which a meeting with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier is planned to discuss the situation in Belarus, Latvian-German relations and other topical issues. In accordance with the regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers on epidemiological security measures to limit the spread of Covid-19 infection, the self-isolation requirements also do not apply to holders of diplomatic passports of the Republic of Latvia and their accompanying technical staff performing official functions.
