The Lidl retail chain is preparing to continue selling limited edition clothing with its logo in the Czech Republic. He himself admits that many customers perceive it more as a recession, although some products disappeared from the e-shop in June in a short time. At foreign bazaars, fashion pieces were auctioned for large sums. For example, slippers, caps, sweatshirts or leggings will now reappear in the menu.

“For many people interested, the collection is also a kind of recession and products with the Lidl logo can also serve as a funny gift for many customers to people who shop in our stores or e-shop,” the German chain said in a domestic press release.

The new clothing collection is sold under the Esmara and Livergy clothing brands, while a limited collection of Lidl socks can be found by customers under the Crivit brand. The chain’s e-shop will also offer women’s leggings, caps and sports accessories.

“Customer interest in the first collection of clothes with the Lidl logo exceeded our expectations. Some products sold out very quickly, which is why we are bringing an expanded offer with the new collection. We believe that products with our logo will be available again.

Lidl’s first fashion collection was also a success abroad. On the German version of the eBay shopping portal, for example, shoes with the logo in the original packaging were offered at a price up to five times higher than what they cost on the Czech Lidl e-shop.
