Les PolyKromies de Sarcelles: new free festival combining great repertoire and urban cultures

A new musical festival is coming to Île-de-France this summer. The PolyKromies are taking over the city of Sarcelles from July 22 to 25, 2021 with a program that merges a large repertoire and urban cultures. On this occasion, the violinist Renaud Capuçon will perform on the Place de France for a free concert.

The PolyKromies of Sarcelles, this is the name of the brand new Ile-de-France music festival to discover for free from July 22 to 25, 2021. The concept ? Bring classical music, hip-hop, soul, groove, African hairstyle, gospel, Arab-Andalusian and Hebrew singing together for four days, in order to enhance the multicultural reality of the city.

See you from July 22 to 25, 2021 on the Place de France at Sarcelles to take advantage of this eclectic program.

In the program :

Thursday July 22 at 8 p.m .: Renaud Capuçon & Lausanne Soloists
The famous international violinist and soloist Renaud Capuçon will be accompanied for the occasion by the Lausanne Soloists ensemble. Together, they will deliver an exceptional concert where Mozart and Beethoven will be in the spotlight. Emotion guaranteed with this cross between the culture of the Grand Repertoire and the urban dance of hip-hop dancers (Playmo, Evid3nce and Sarcellite).

Friday July 23 at 6 p.m .: African culture in the spotlight
Against the backdrop of an African party and catchy rhythms, Evee Smile will transform the Place de France into a huge dance floor with afro groove fit, these famous afro groove dance movements combined with cardio and fitness exercises. Then, from 7 p.m., make way for the hairdressers of the Olilor school with the program of a wax fashion and African hairstyle show.

Saturday July 24 at 7:45 p.m .: BlackFoxy and the Drummers for Peace
Composed of nine passionate and committed musicians and singers, the soul rap funk band BlackFoxy unveils a repertoire of dozens of original works, influenced by the Kool and The Gang, Bruno Mars and Stevie Wonder. The founding members also launched the Drummers for Peace movement, so that peace makes more noise than conflicts.

Sunday July 25: the Choir of Gospel Cherubs
The Choir of the Gospel Cherubs, created more than 40 years old, is made up of a hundred artists with musical and vocal qualities recognized throughout France. They will light up this closing evening by singing in English, French, Creole and various African languages.
