Leonardo DiCaprio Open to Returning as Jordan Belfort in “The Wolf of Wall Street” Sequel
LOS ANGELES, September 11, 2023 – Leonardo DiCaprio has signaled a willingness to reprise his iconic role as the morally bankrupt stockbroker Jordan belfort in a potential sequel to martin Scorsese’s 2013 hit, The Wolf of Wall Street. The revelation came during an exclusive interview with E! News’ Will Marfuggi, which aired on September 10.
DiCaprio stated, “It would be fun to do more Wolf of Wall Street stuff.” The original film, a darkly comedic portrayal of excess and financial fraud, earned DiCaprio his fourth Oscar nomination and remains a defining role in his celebrated career. He later won an Academy Award in 2016 for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for The Revenant.
