Leo Messi hat Xavi called to find out if there was a way to Barcelona to return, reported reporter Eduardo Inda at El Chiringuito.

“Messi and Xavi have a close relationship, they won a lot of trophies together. Messi doesn’t really feel comfortable in Paris, he spent the first months in the hotel. His family is still not used to living in France.” explains the journalist.

Xavi was reportedly happy to hear Messi but the Barca boss reportedly told Messi that he would have to wait for Joan Laporta’s call if the return is possible.

It is reported that there have been no contacts between Laporta and Messi so far – probably relations between the two are not that warm since Leo’s departure.

The other El Chiringuito reporter and ex-Barca pro Lobo Carrasco said he has news about Messi’s future but he can’t reveal it until January. So you just have to wait.
