Lenovo presents Moto G8 with 720p screen and 4000mAh battery – Tablets and phones – News

Lenovo has presented the Motorola Moto G8, after the manufacturer has previously released the G8 Plus and G8 Power. The G8 contains various upgrades compared to the G7, but also has a few downgrades.

For example, the screen has no full HD resolution like the G7, but it goes with the Moto G8 to a 720p LCD. Moreover, fast charging is no longer possible and the G8 charges with a maximum of 10W. In addition, the screen has become longer and the housing larger.

There are also the necessary upgrades. There are now more cameras on the back; a camera with ultra wide angle lens and a macro camera were added. The battery has grown considerably from 3000 to 4000 mAh. The soc is a Snapdragon 665 and therefore newer than the 632 of the previous generation.

Lenovo has announced the smartphone in Brazil, where it is currently being converted for around 250 euros. That is in line with the price of the G7, which also cost about 250 euros when released a year ago. On the other hand, the G8 Power costs less, while it has better specifications at various points, including a battery with more capacity, an extra camera and a screen with higher resolution. The G8 is the third smartphone in the eighth generation Moto G phones. The G8 Plus came out first at the end of last year, followed by the G8 Power in February.
