Marco Rose’s Bundesliga comeback could not have gone better: with RB Leipzig he clearly won the Bundesliga against his former club Borussia Dortmund.
Willi Orban (5th minute) gave Leipzig the lead at the start of matchday 6, Dominik Szoboszlai stepped up just before the break (45th). Amadou Haidara (84th) set up the final point for RB. But the BVB lacked the necessary spirit to really put pressure on very stable Leipzig. Both Leipzig and Dortmund have two football heavyweights ahead of them in the Champions League on Wednesday.
