LEIDEN – Four former employees of Leiden University, whose criticism of Professor Dr. Paul Cliteur prompted an investigation into alleged anti-Semitism within his department Encyclopedia of Law, want the university management to cancel the investigation. In a letter signed by the Arabists David Suurland and Machteld Allan, political scientist Machteld Zee and philosopher and political scientist Yoram Stein, they write that there is no justification for this. The letter is in the possession of De Telegraaf.
